I would visit New York, because it's one of the biggest cities in the world and there are so much places for sightseeing!

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

I did some bungeejumping some years ago

What are your favourite hobbies?

My favourite hobbies are playing tennis, football, trumpet.

What is your goal to accomplish during your lifetime?

A goal of my life is to get a job, to finish the A-level and to found a family

If you could be an animal, which one would you be?

I would be an pinguin, because those are my favourite animals.

Whats your favourite lesson in school?

Valentine's Day

Hey guys,

on the 14th of february we were talking about Valentine's Day and there are some companies which make much money in that week. The companies are producing and selling chocolate, jewellery and flowers. I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, because in my opinion this day is only a marketing gag from the USA. On average, Americans are expected to spend $130.97 for celebrating with partners. I think it's way too much. I wouldn't spend so much money for Valentine's Day.

What's your opinion about Valentine's Day?

See you!

Prague - "the journey"

Hey guys,

I have been in Prague for 3 days. This trip was organized by my school. and now I will tell you some facts and things I liked and disliked.

So the first fact is that you have to drive by bus for 5 hours. This was very hard for me, because after half the distance my body had hurted so much that the rest of the ride wasn't enjoyable. After arriving we walked throught the city more than 3 hours, it was so exhausting.
In Czech Republic the beer is so good. Our whole group liked it so much, so we drunk more than 50 litre beer in 1 hour!!
The biggest problem was that it was raining all day long, so we were wet like a fish.
The next day we also walked over to the other side of the city and did some sightseeing within leading of our guide. It was still raining and we shipped on the moldau, it's the longest river in this country.
On the third day we got a guided tour in the budweiser brewery. After we turned a round throught this factory, everybody bought beer so most of the souvenir shop was empty.

I really liked this trip and think that it was the right decision to go on this journey. I really recommend you to go to Prague once in lifetime.

See you.

Stereotypes about Austria

Hey guys,

This semester I'm a buddy and welcomed James. He is an exchange student and lives in England, near London. His name is James and he has orange hair. Also he is as big as me. His hobbies are playing football, basketball or going for a swim. As a buddy I have already spent some time with him, and realised that he has heard of some stereotypes about Austria. So today I'm writing about these and try to explain them.

On Monday he told me that he always thought that Austrians don't go out without wearing a "Lederhose" or a "Dirndl". But this isn't correct, because people in Austria only wear this traditional clothes at festivals or at some weddings. Fifty years ago people in Austria used to work in these clothes every day. But nowadays the people don't wear this anymore.

On the next day my mom prepared lunch very well, but James was confused, because there wasn't any "Schnitzel" on the plate. He thought Austrians eat "Schnitzel" every day! So this is the next stereotype he had about Austria. That's not right, because most of us only eat this food once a month. But Kugler Simon really eats this food almost every day, because he has a eating disorder, so he can't eat other food!!

I hope I could inform you and James about the Austrien culture.

See you,
Patrick

Funny Advertisements

Hey guys,
last english lesson we were talking about advertisement, and so I show you a very funny ad.

This is an ad of Pepsi Cola and they developed a new Cola with Lime juice in it. In this picture the Lime is urinating in the normal Pepsi Cola.

I think the target group of this advertisement are people, who like cola with lime (it tastes very good).
In my opinion this product will bring better sales figures than Pepsi Maxx or MezzoMix.

In my mind you can't go outside without seeing an advertisement and that's really harmful for our society.
The companies use big bold words, bright colours and a lot of other "eye catching" effects in their ads to get our attention. With these ad's they want to change our minds on their products.

See you, Patrick

New Yorker

Hey guys,

today I'm writing about the chain store New Yorker. This chain store is one of the most popular clothes store and also one of the most popular brand in Austria. The company was founded by Tilmar Hansen and Michael Simson in 1971. The first store was in the downtown of Flensburg. Few years later New Yorker has taken over by Friedrich Knapp and now the company has 980 chain stores in 39 countries.
Their target audience are people at the age of 12 til 39.
The main place of the company is in Braunschweig, Germany and they have over 16.000 employees.

I really like New Yorker, because I like the style, what they offer and I like also the style of the chain stores.

The main place in Braunschweig

See you,
Patrick

Interview of Donald Trump

Hey Guys,

last lesson we watched an interview with Mr. Colbert Donald Trump, one of the candidates for presidency in the USA.

He has spoken about to built a wall at the border of the USA and Mexico, if he was elected for the presindecy. With this kind of wall he wants to stop the illegal immigration and drug traffic between the USA and Mexico. He only wants to have legal immigration so he wants to build a big door into the wall.

I think it's the wrong way of thinking, because everybody should can go everywhere he wants to.
Drug traffic a very critical issue and it have to be stopped, but a wall isn't the right solution for this problem.
As for his chances to become president of the United States of America I believe that he has bad chances to get this presidency, because all of his solutions aren't the right one and most of the population know this.

I think the next American president will be Hillary Clinton.

See you,
Patrick
