Austrian food

thanks for your E-Mail, let me give you some information about food an table manners in Austria/ our family and so on.


If you come to Austria there are no unusually table manners. But some things are different!


An example:

You go in a restaurant and you needn't wait in by the door, the waiter will accompany you to your table and ask if everything is ok.


Restaurants in Austria:

Food in Austria is everywhere very deliscious. The best of all in Austria is the Wiener Schnitzel, you can have it in every restaurant.


Austian people are mostly very patient and eating insects is becoming more and more popular
in Austria.




Eating habits in Austria:

You should use cutlery when eating. For the soup you need a spoon and for the other meals you should eat it with the fork and the knife. But if you eat a chicken, you will be allowed to eat with your fingers.


You shouldn't burb and fart by the table and you shouldn't eat with an open mouth. Slurping by eating a soup isn't allowed!




Eating with my Family:

We go to a restaurant twice a month, my mom is a good cook, we love eating at home, we have a buffet at school where you can buy a wide selection of food.



Eating at school:

It's easy to explain, because we have a buffet in the school and there you can buy the food for yourself. They have a menu with many foods!

My bedroom

Hey there!

I am writting this Post from my bedroom and now I want to describe my bedroom to you.

In my bedroom there are a large bed and a big wardrobe. There is also a very big desk with some stuff to do, on it. And then there are one TV set with a laptop, a TV and a Motocross helmet on it. I have also two floating shelfs in my bedroom and I have many selfmade pictures on the walls. you maybe can imagine what my room is like, let me show you some real pictures now:

My New Year's resolution

My New Year's resolution

 



The most people in the world do some New Year's resolutions at the new years eve for the new year.

My New Year's resolution is to have the same results on the tests as in the old year or better. Because at the old year my marks were also good, but ist could be better. Do you have some New Year's resolutions? And how was your Holiday and Christmas?

Family life in Britain

I have just read an article in my english book, I though you might be interrested because, it talks about family live in Britain.

Nowadays the british familys are changing and in 2020 there are more single-parents than married parents. In the future the people will get married with 30-40 years and the people are not going so much married than now.
And the family size would get smaller in 2020.

I think in Austria it's the same as in England because in Austria the people are not getting married so much than for a few years. But the family size, in Austria would not get smaller in the future i think.

Guy Fawkes Day and Halloween

In the school we have spoken about "Guy Fawkes Day" and Halloween. Let me tell you about some interresting facts.

Guy Fawkes Day is on 5 of November. Guy Fawkes was a terrorist in 1605 and was a very dangerous man, because he wanted to bomb the parliament and the king away.

On the Guy Fawkes Day the children are going to the street and the old people are going to the children and give their some money. After that the children buy old clothes and make a bonefire at the evening. Guy Fawkes Day is only celebrate in England

                                                   

Halloween is on the 31 of October.On Halloween the youngsters dress up for scary figures and they go from door to door.
They say Trick or Treat. Mostly they get some candies.

It's celebrate on the whole world, but the most Halloweenparties are in the USA and in parts of England.

Hey Tobias,

My first days at my new school are over and I'm realy happy because I have very cool new classmates. It's always very funy. I have many new subjects in my school.
I've business subjects and General subjects.

Business subjects:

• Information & Office Management
• Business Studies
• Personal & Social Compedention
• Accouting & Controlling

General subjects:

• Geografie
• Science
• French
• German
• English
• Religious Intructions
• Mathematics
• Physical Education

My favourite subject is Physical Education.

My regular schoolday is very easy, because I wake up at half past six and then I go and prush my tooth. After this I do my breakfast and go to the busstation. 

After school I eat my meal for lunch, do my homework and learn a bit for school.
